Leave a Legacy

Create a legacy that will impact wish kids for years to come. By including the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Oregon in your estate plans or other planned gift, you can provide the resources necessary to grant inspiring wishes for children now and in the future.

Here are some ways to give:

  • Charitable Remainder Trust: Forming a Charitable Remainder Trust (CRT) allows you to transfer assets into a trust. The trust pays income to you or other beneficiaries during your lifetime. The remaining principal will benefit Make-A-Wish Oregon at the end of the trust term.
  • Charitable Gift Annuity: Creating a Charitable Gift Annuity (CGA) enables you to transfer cash or securities to Make-A-Wish Oregon in exchange for a current income tax deduction and fixed annual payments for life. The remaining principal will benefit us.
  • Bequest: Everyone should make a will or living trust, regardless of wealth. In appreciation of your support, Make-A-Wish Oregon has partnered with FreeWill to help you plan your legacy, ensuring peace of mind and security for you and your loved ones. FreeWill can walk you through the process of creating or updating your legally-binding will. Get started today

Have you already included Make-A-Wish Oregon in your will? Please fill out this form to let us know. We would love to thank you for your generosity.

  • Life Insurance Designations: Designating Make-A-Wish Oregon as the beneficiary of your life insurance policy is an easy way to leave a legacy. Irrevocably donating an existing policy you no longer need will provide you with a current charitable income tax deduction.
