Summer of Wishes

Make Summer Brighter for Wish Kids

Summer should be a season filled with joy, adventure, and memories for children. But for many kids facing critical illnesses, summer can instead mean treatments, hospital stays, and missed moments with family and friends.

This summer, you can help change that.

From May 21 through August 21, join Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas for Summer of Wishes, a community-wide awareness campaign focused on bringing hope, strength, and joy to children waiting for wishes across Central and South Texas.

Whether you choose to donate, fundraise, volunteer, or share your wish story, every action helps create life-changing wishes for local children and families.

Why Summer Matters

Summer is one of the busiest times for wish granting, but it can also be when support for our mission slows down the most.

Right now, more than 350 children across the country are waiting for their wishes to come true.

A wish is more than a moment of happiness. Research shows wishes can help children build the emotional and physical strength they need during treatment and recovery.

Together, we can help make summer brighter for wish kids across Central and South Texas.
