Our Mission

Make-A-Wish creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. We are on a quest to bring every eligible child's wish to life, because a wish is an integral part of a child's treatment journey. Research shows children who have wishes granted can build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight a critical illness. Together, generous donors, supporters, staff, and volunteers grant wishes to our kids. Since 1984, Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas has granted more than 6,500 wishes to local children across 40 counties across central and south Texas.

Our Alumni

When a wish is granted for you or a family member, you become a part of a larger family; one that understands the trials and tribulations of childhood illness in a way no one else can. Join our Wish Alumni Network and receive communications to any upcoming engagement opportunities.
