Eli Manning poked his head out of the castle at the Make-A-Wish foundation in Monroe Township on Tuesday afternoon and then hid behind a pillar, waiting for his cue. The former Giants quarterback was trying not to be spotted too soon.

Little did he know on the morning of March 30 that his wish was about to come true of a shopping spree of new electronics – especially the coveted, difficult-to-get Xbox Series X.

Jersey Mike’s, one of the largest sandwich chains in the country founded 65 years ago in Point Pleasant Beach, will donate 100% of Wednesday's sales to local charities, such as Make-A-Wish New Jersey.
