Despite his critical diagnosis, Reed is just like any other kid. “Reed is just a light and a joy,” said Monica, Reed’s mom. At home, Reed finds this joy in the simplest of things, one of which being caring proudly for the chickens that scatter his yard.

Yet behind those moments, is a journey filled with uncertainty, long hospital stays, and critical care. There is no cure for his condition, and it will be something he will carry with him for years to come. Still, Reed’s bright spirit has never faded.

When Reed learned he was going to be granted a wish, his eyes lit up. During his days in treatment, he spent hours watching videos of cows, completely enchanted. He knew exactly what he wanted. No a stranger to farm animals, Reed longed to grow their family farm. “I wish for a fluffy cow,” Reed exclaimed.

With the help of his magical wish granters, Reed was surprised with the news that his wish for two fluffy cow was granted at the 2026 Breakfast for Wishes in front of over 600 people!
