Rafting for Wishes 2024

Rafting for Wishes is an annual fundraising event benefiting Make-A-Wish New Hampshire. This year, we are celebrating our 14th year on the rafts! We would like to once again thank Service Credit Union for being the Title Sponsor for the event. Because of their support, all donations raised go directly to program.

Rafting for Wishes is held in Meredith Bay and on land at Hesky Park. We will once again have two ways for you to participate. Participants can choose to take the 24 hour challenge in Meredith Bay or they can choose to support the event at a location of their choosing, for 8 hours. 

All teams, whether virtual or participating in Meredith are welcome and encouraged to join us for our Opening Ceremony on Friday, July 19th at 3:30pm and our Closing Ceremony on Saturday, July 20th at 3:30pm in Meredith Bay and on land at Hesky Park.

Event History and Details:

Since this event moved to Meredith Bay we have appreciated the support of the Lakes Region community. Our goal is to have 25 teams representing various businesses and groups comprised of individuals from all over the state. Together, we hope to raise as much money as we can, to help grant wishes for children with a critical illness, right here in New Hampshire.

A team is made up of 1-20 participants and are tasked with the goal to have their team "raft" together over the course of the 24 hour event in Meredith or the 8 hour event at their own location.

Each team is challenged to raise at least $3,000, a minimum of $300 per individual for a team of 10. 

In addition to creating a team, there are other volunteer and sponsorship opportunities for anyone looking to get involved. Individuals and teams have the option to help secure event sponsors to help their team achieve their overall fundraising goal i.e. if a team member gets a $250 or more sponsor/donation, that business gets the perks of a sponsor and that donation is added to the page of the individual who requested the donation.
