Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic finances endeavors through corporate sponsorships, special events, foundation grants and individual contributions. However, we do not solicit funds by telephone and receive no federal or state funding. As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, all contributions are deductible to the extent permitted by law. Our financial statements are audited locally by CliftonLarsonAllen LLP. 

At Make-A-Wish, we take our responsibility for the monies donated to our cause very seriously and are pleased to confirm that according to audited financial statements, Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Mid-Atlantic spent an average of 70.6% of every dollar on wish granting and program expenses during the 3-year period prior to COVID (71.4% during FY2019, last fiscal year prior to COVID). Our program percentage decreased during COVID since many wish types were suspended. Our program percentage has increased since COVID as all wish types, including travel, have reopened.
