Lizzy’s wish helped her see a future that’s possible
A wish brought Lizzy a day filled with happiness and hope
Every day is a struggle for Lizzy, whose nervous system disorder causes uncontrollable seizures. She never knows when one might happen, and that uncertainty can keep her from doing some of the things she loves most.
But Lizzy has never lost sight of her passion for helping people. Inspired by her favorite medical show, she wished to become a surgeon for a day.
When Lizzy’s wish was granted, the experience was instantly unforgettable. “I feel like my dream came true, as my main dream is to see my sister happy all the time,” said Lizzy’s sister, Katherine.
