Young Professionals Council

Young Professionals Council (Sept. 2025)

The Young Professionals Council (YPC) is a community of individuals who give generously to support wish kids in their battle with critical illnesses. A wish is essential to help a child replace fear today with confidence and optimism for their future.

The YPC is composed of young leaders (under 35 years old) in the Greater Seattle area with diverse professional backgrounds and personal interests who desire to support the mission of Make-A-Wish Alaska & Washington. Council members are action-oriented individuals who are passionate about giving back to the community through various fundraising initiatives.

Members have a collective goal: to work with like-minded professionals to fundraise while enjoying the opportunity to network, socialize, volunteer and have a fantastic time, all for a great cause!

As a YPC Member, you will:

  • Become an active and philanthropic member of your community

  • Socialize and network at exclusive YPC events throughout the year

  • Assist in fundraising to grant local Alaska & Washington wishes

  • Attend chapter special events and participate in volunteer opportunities with like-minded young professionals
