Workplace Giving

Workplace giving programs help provide employees with a simple way to donate to charities they care about.

There are many ways employees can contribute money, including through payroll deductions, joining workplace giving federations and participating in internal fundraising events. Workplace giving not only benefits the participating charities, but also employees who become engaged in giving back.

United Way Program

If your company's employee giving program only includes the United Way, look for your local Make-A-Wish chapter in the listing of charities.

If your local chapter is not represented, look for a "donor option" line on your giving campaign form and write in "Make-A-Wish." Most local United Way programs allow donors to specify a charity other than one from their list of participants. Your local United Way will then forward your gift directly to Make-A-Wish.

** America’s Charities is the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America’s workplace giving federation.

America’s Charities works on our behalf to place the Make-A-Wish Foundation in workplace giving campaigns across the nation. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of America participates as a member of Children 1st – America’s Charities.
