PHOENIX (June 18, 2025) – For the 14th consecutive year, Subaru has selected Make-A-Wish as one of the four national charity beneficiaries of the 2024 Subaru Share the Love® Event. Last year’s event raised more than $3.1 million for the organization, for a total of more than $38 million since the partnership started, underscoring Subaru of America, Inc.’s ongoing commitment to bringing hope and joy to children when they need it most.
As part of the Subaru Share the Love Event, Subaru and its participating retailers donated a minimum of $300 for every new Subaru vehicle purchased or leased. In addition to the national charity beneficiaries, participating Subaru retailers could select from 834 local charities within their communities for donation consideration. Nationwide, 32 Subaru retailers chose to support 23 Make-A-Wish chapters as their hometown charities, allowing customers to direct their contributions to make life-changing wishes come true.
"A wish has the power to ignite hope and resilience in children battling critical illnesses. Yet, for every wish we grant, two more children are still waiting for their wish," said Leslie Motter, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish America. “The partnership between Subaru and Make-A-Wish exemplifies the impact that long-term supporters can have, helping us get closer to delivering the transformational power of a wish to every eligible child."
This initiative highlights how powerful a wish can be and shows the strong commitment that Subaru, their retailers, and their customers have to making a real difference in the lives of kids with critical illnesses. Through fun events, impactful campaigns, and teamwork, Subaru employees and customers come together to help make these wishes come true, bringing joy not just to the kids but also to their families.
