“We have seen some bad days,” said Khushi’s dad, Chirag. After going through so much, Khushi’s one true wish was to be a princess.
The day Khushi’s wish came true, her classmates sprinkled her with confetti. She embarked on a royal quest to pick up her princess essentials. Those at the local schools and companies that helped raise money to grant Khushi’s wish awaited her arrival to hand off each piece – a tiara, a scepter, the key to a royal hotel suite, a beautiful gown and more. She was transformed into Princess Khushi, who danced and played, smiling big and bright. Later, Princess Khushi rode through the town parade in a horse-drawn carriage. She waved to hundreds of townspeople who shouted words of love and encouragement just for her.
It's like a miracle. It's like a dream.

Khushi's mom
Khushi’s wish gave her the chance to replace fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope. It united an entire community in an experience that was uplifting and everlasting. And, it was Khushi’s chance to celebrate being cancer-free. “It’s like a miracle,” said Khushi’s mom, Vaishan. “It’s like a dream.”
