Wine for Wishes by the Bay is more than just a celebration—it's a party with a purpose. This special event honors the powerful, life-changing impact that a wish can have on a child, their family, and the broader community.
Last year, over 400 guests came together to enjoy an evening filled with local cuisine, live music, and fine wine. Thanks to their generosity, the event raised enough to grant seven heartfelt wishes for children in the Rio Grande Valley facing critical illnesses.
Get ready for an unforgettable evening filled with inspiring wish stories, live music from the Chris Marshall Band, and plenty of exciting surprises along the way—this year’s event promises to be a fantastic time!
Festivities kick off on Friday, October 3, with a Packet Pickup and Happy Hour, leading up to the 2nd Annual Wine for Wishes by the Bay on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 6 PM to 9 PM at The Shores in South Padre Island. VIP sponsors receive early entry to the event, access to the VIP area, VIP swag bag, and a wine glass, along with sponsor-provided products or marketing materials. General Admission tickets grant entry to the main event.

Calling all RGV Restaurants....
Do you own or work for a restaurant that would like to participate in Wine for Wishes? We would love for you to come out to our event Saturday, October 4, 202 at the 'Greens at the Shores' in South Padre Island. This event will be open for ticketed guests from 6:00pm-9:00pm.
Last year's event had over 450 participants who enjoyed our local food, wine, and music while supporting a great cause - helping raise funds for Make-A-Wish Rio Grande Valley.
We welcome local restaurants, breweries, and wine shops to join us and promote your business by donating food and/or beverages during our event to create an atmosphere of fun and food for guests. For more information, see the Restaurant Support Packet
As partners with Make-A-Wish Rio Grande Valley, restaurants and businesses:
- Will be featured on our website, printed and posted advertisement for the event, as well as featured on social media.
- Receive a 'Make-A-Wish Partner' plaque to be displayed at their location.
- The opportunity to advertise and provide 'take away goodies' for participants.
- Exposure to 500 -1,000 participants
- Be featured on our event 'Passport' that will drive participants to your restaurants/businesses
