By supporting Make-A-Wish this holiday season, you can help bring joy back into a child’s life-a child like Lincoln who wished for a one-of-a-kind treehouse!

Watching 9-year-old Lincoln run, jump, play and laugh, it’s hard to believe the boy with an infectious smile underwent four years of grueling chemotherapy to treat leukemia. Lincoln always kept a positive attitude and a smile on his face.

When the community learned about Lincoln's heartfelt wish for a backyard treehouse, a local builder jumped at the opportunity to give back and make a positive impact in their community.

In September, the treehouse was coming to life, complete with a loft, crane, swing, slide, and deck. Lincoln oversaw the construction and could hardly wait to spend his first night in the treehouse with his cousins.

“Memories will be made, laughter will be heard, and each time we look at it we will always remember that wishes do come true!”  - Amanda, wish mom

Lincoln’s wish brought him joy and so much more-hope for his future. His wish marked the end of his battle with leukemia and the beginning a new adventure.

Did you know 80% of wish kids go on to beat their illness and live typical healthy lives. Once in adulthood, many wish kids tell Make-A-Wish that their wish marked a turning point in their road to treatment and recovery.

If a child you loved were fighting a critical illness, what would you give to make their wish come true?

Right now, more than 2,000 children in Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana are waiting for a wish. Bring joy back into a child’s life this holiday season by becoming a Wishmaker and make your gift monthly!
