Wish kid Easton

2-year-old Easton’s wish to celebrate seven holidays in seven days is a shining example of the power of a wish to unite, inspire, and transform.

Easton, who battles an aggressive form of cancer, chose his wish after doctors said they were unsure if he would make it to his third birthday. A wish is a beacon of hope during one of life’s darkest seasons. This hope is the most precious thing we can offer. From Christmas and Easter to Easton's birthday, each day included decorations, activities, food, gifts, a neighborhood parade, and more.

“My hope is that he will enjoy every minute of it,” said Easton's mom, Tracy. "It’s pretty important to us because we want to spend as many holidays with him as we can."

Easton’s wish brought him and his entire family much needed hope and joy. During the week of his wish, they could forget about his illness and focus on making precious memories together. After learning about his heartfelt wish, people from across the country sent more than a thousand cards, gifts, and letters to Easton and his family--a beautiful reminder they are not fighting alone.

"We take our precious moments hour by hour and cherish every minute by it," said Tracy. Because time with Easton means everything.

In the fight against a critical illness, each wish serves as a catalyst for renewed strength and encouragement. A few weeks after Easton's wish was granted, he began regaining strength and making unexpected progress in his fight against cancer. His wish was truly a gift from the entire community for a family that believes in the power of hope.
