Calling all WishMakers!
This April marks the evolution of World Wish Day into the very first World Wish Month, and we're inviting WishMakers like you to help us expand our community. Over the next month, you will see the rallying cry "Become a WishMaker" across our channels to recruit new WishMakers in all their forms.
Anyone can be a Wishmaker
Wishes are possible because of volunteers, donors, corporate partners, medical professionals, advocates, and every form of WishMaker throughout our community. Last year we granted 1,205 wishes with the help of countless WishMakers across Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana and we need your support to grant the wish of every eligible child.
Invite your friends, family, coworkers, and community members to join the Make-A-Wish community and help grant wishes for kids with critical illnesses like Mya's!
What is a WishMaker?
A WishMaker is anyone who takes action for wish kids. Here are just a few ways to get involved right now.

Last summer, you met wish kid Mya, who at just 5 years old is fighting a daily battle against a nervous system disorder. When Make-A-Wish came into Mya’s life, she made the imaginative request to meet and ride a unicorn whom she would name Clover. Throughout April, you'll meet key WishMakers throughout Mya's community who helped her whimsical wish came true and learn more about the behind-the-scenes of granting a wish.
