Eight-year-old wish kid Allison from Woodbridge, VA is resilient cancer-fighter with a passion for art. Allison has undergone many years of medical treatments – which put her wish on hold until she was well enough to enjoy it. Her big sister Natalie and parents Keith and Irma have been by her side through all the ups and downs and know firsthand how a difficult medical journey affects the entire family. Now that Allison is in remission, she and her family are looking forward to trading in memories of hospital rooms and operations for a magical vacation at Walt Disney World Resort!

Allison wished to go to Walt Disney World because she loves Disney princesses - specifically the princess from the movies Frozen and Encanto - and going on rides, even roller coasters! When her wish granting volunteers learned that Allison’s favorite food is chicken nuggets, they reached out to Chick-fil-A in Allison's hometown with the idea of throwing her an unforgettable send-off.

Inspired by Allison’s resilience, they offered to throw her pre-departure celebration full of all her favorite things!

Chick-fil-A’s cow mascot wasn’t the only character to meet at Allison’s party – Mirabel and Bruno from the Disney movie Encanto were also in attendance! Complete with an Encanto cake, cookies and music, as well as arts and crafts, it was a party truly fit for a princess. Allison had a great time painting, eating and enjoying a fun-filled day that made her even more excited for her upcoming wish trip to Disney. Her family can’t wait to create happy, lifelong memories together and see Allison dance and light up when she meets all the Disney princesses!
