Children who are fighting critical illnesses experience extreme emotional challenges every day. Such mental distress can impair a child’s long-term healing and leave them feeling hopeless. With hope, a child with a critical illness finds light in the darkness of their current circumstances. It transforms their perspective, replacing feelings of trauma with hope for tomorrow.
This hope can only be found in a wish … and you have the power to create it.
This year we are celebrating World Wish Day, an annual Make-A-Wish event that commemorates more than 40 years of granting life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. World Wish Day takes place on April 29 every year, marking the anniversary of the wish that inspired the creation of Make-A-Wish.
We often celebrate in various ways in the week and month leading up to the event and invite you to join us! Now and leading up to World Wish Day, digital creators can help grant wishes for every child - bringing hope and joy to children with critical illnesses around the world.
