Sabrina’s Outdoor Adventure 
Became So Much More

At the age of five, Sabrina has endured more than most adults do in a lifetime. When she was two, Sabrina was diagnosed with leukemia, which turned her family’s world upside-down. She began difficult and exhausting treatments, but her adventurous spirit never waned.

Unfortunately, Sabrina couldn’t do many of her favorite activities while she was in treatment. She loves animals, spending time outside and getting her hands dirty… all things that would leave her susceptible to illness.

Sabrina’s biggest wish was to visit a farm and play with the animals. We took this idea and gave Sabrina and her family a special adventure once she was cleared by her doctors.

We brought Sabrina and her family to the Orange County Fair before it opened to the public so they could safely enjoy all the outdoor activities. Sabrina met baby chicks, donkeys, oxen, and camels. She snuggled with pygmy goats and even got to name a new piglet!
