When Kin-wan was diagnosed with a brain tumor, his school life and fun time with friends turned into weekly rounds of electrotherapy and chemotherapy. As a result of the brain tumor, Kin-wan’s body no longer obeyed him, so he would often lose his balance and couldn’t run anymore.
But through his hardship, there was a bright light. Kin-wan wished to bring his family to Hong Kong Disneyland and hang out with his best friend, Mickey Mouse. Every day leading up to his wish, Kin-wan planned out what he would do and what he would see at Disneyland.
Marking the end of his chemotherapy treatments, Kin-wan and his family embarked on a magical adventure to Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. Kin-wan’s wish was filled with joy and laughter and unforgettable memories. He enjoyed fabulous performances and priceless moments with Mickey Mouse and some of his other favorite Disney characters.
The wish-come-true experience has transformed into Kin-wan’s happiest memory, bringing him hope and strength in the fight against his critical illness.
