StubHub Airline Miles Campaign
StubHub employees can donate their airlines miles to help grant wishes for wish kids like Diweni, who wished to attend a Real Madrid soccer match.
Every 34 minutes, Make-A-Wish turns a seriously ill child’s wish into a life-changing experience. Over seventy-five percent (75%) of these wishes will include travel…that’s more than 3 billion airline miles and over 50,000 round trip tickets needed to fulfill this mission.
Diweni is 16 and is battling cancer. She is a huge soccer fan and has been playing soccer for most of her life. Her family is also made up of soccer fans and they spend their weekends watching as much soccer as possible. Diweni was playing at a high level when she found out that she had cancer and had to stop playing to go through her treatment. Her wish was to see a Real Madrid game live in Spain, which StubHub and Make-A-Wish® granted for her.
The hope and strength that comes from receiving a wish does not just last a moment, a day, or even a month. A wish marks the beginning of a new journey toward optimism, bravery and courage in the fight against illness.
