The Wish Ambassador Program gives former wish recipients the opportunity to represent Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas, share their journey, and help bring hope to more children facing critical illnesses.

As a Wish Ambassador, you'll use your voice, experiences, and passion to help others understand the impact of a wish. Throughout the year, ambassadors may participate in events, campaigns, media opportunities, volunteer activities, and other special moments that help advance our mission across Central and South Texas.

Whether you're speaking at an event, appearing in a social media campaign, welcoming supporters, or sharing your story with the community, you'll help ensure that more eligible children receive the life-changing impact of a wish.

Who Can Apply or Be Nominated?

The Wish Ambassador Program is open to former wish recipients who want to stay connected to Make-A-Wish and help inspire others. Applications may be submitted by wish alumni themselves, parents or guardians, chapter staff, volunteers, board members, and community partners. Self-nominations are welcome and encouraged.

What Do Wish Ambassadors Do?

Every ambassador's experience is unique. Opportunities may include:

• Share Your Story

Be featured in social media campaigns, newsletters, videos, media stories, website content, and awareness initiatives throughout the year.

• Attend Community Events

Represent Make-A-Wish at fundraising events, wish celebrations, volunteer opportunities, and partner activities.

• Inspire Others

Help future wish families learn about the impact of a wish and encourage eligible families to connect with Make-A-Wish.

• Support Special Campaigns

Participate in efforts such as World Wish Month, fundraising campaigns, and other mission-focused initiatives.

• Thank Supporters

Help recognize the donors, volunteers, and partners who make wishes possible through letters, videos, event appearances, and other expressions of gratitude.
