Help grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses at American Dream
EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ— On Saturday April 25th, Make-A-Wish New Jersey will host their annual Walk & Roll For Wishes, presented by Pop’s Coffee at American Dream at 8am. The family-friendly event raises crucial funds to help support Make-A-Wish New Jersey’s mission of creating life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
Walk & Roll For Wishes will kick off at American Dream, a unique sprawling entertainment destination in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The morning is powered by wish families, volunteers, companies, schools, donors and friends. The event will include a fun and interactive walk inside American Dream, food, entertainment, and an inspiring program filled with stories and testimonies from wish families. At the same time, Walk & Roll For Wishes will showcase the strong community investment of local businesses, organizations and community members who continue to provide the necessary resources to bring the mission of Make-A-Wish to life.
Make-A-Wish New Jersey has granted more than 13,000 wishes for children with critical illnesses throughout the Garden State in its nearly 43-year history. A wish creates an opportunity for hope and the ability to experience life beyond illness. In the fight against a critical illness, a wish serves as a catalyst for renewed strength and encouragement for every child and family on their journey. A wish helps kids look past their limitations, families overcome anxiety and entire communities experience joy. Wishes can even improve a child’s quality of life.
