By rallying entire communities around wish kids, we build on a movement of hope, joy, and strength for everyone involved. Cavender Auto Group brings that belief to life through its partnership with Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas, creating meaningful experiences for children and families across the region.

During Cavender Cares Month 2025, employees across the organization selected Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas as their nonprofit partner and came together in an extraordinary way. Their collective efforts raised $150,000 to help grant wishes for children facing critical illnesses. Beyond fundraising, team members donated toys, snacks, travel items, and party supplies for wish families and contributed more than 130 volunteer hours in support of the mission.

Cavender’s impact is felt not only in the funds they raise, but in the joy they help create along the way. When wish kid Jaxon prepared for his trip to Super Nintendo World, Cavender Auto Group hosted a memorable send-off celebration at their San Antonio dealership. The space was transformed into a Nintendo-themed party where Jaxon rode in a sports car, opened gifts from employees, and was surrounded by a community cheering him on before his journey began.

Through their generosity and commitment, Cavender Auto Group is helping ensure that every eligible child has the power of a wish to accompany them through their medical journey, bringing hope, strength, and joy to families across Central and South Texas.
