Make-A-Wish is calling on compassionate community members to help bring hope and joy to local children facing critical illnesses. Summer is the busiest season for wish granting, and both volunteer and financial support are needed to help make these wishes possible.

The Wish Heroes campaign, running throughout the month of June, empowers individuals to raise awareness and funds in support of Make-A-Wish Western New York. Each Wish Hero commits to raising at least $1,000 – a goal that makes a difference for local children waiting on their wish to be granted.

Whether you're a returning supporter or stepping into this role for the first time, Make-A-Wish provides tools and encouragement to help you succeed. Once registered, each Wish Hero receives a personalized fundraising page to share their story and rally support from their network of friends, family, and colleagues.

Campaign Details:

• Who: Anyone passionate about making a difference – Wish Heroes are community leaders, neighbors, families, and friends who believe in the power of a wish.
• What: Share why you support Make-A-Wish and raise funds by telling your story online.
• When: June 1–30, 2025 – perfectly timed with their busiest season for granting wishes.
• How: Use your custom fundraising page to spread the word and collect donations.
• Goal: Each Wish Hero aims to raise a minimum of $1,000 – but every dollar makes an impact.
