”SUMMER WISHES AT THE JERSEY SHORE”  LIVE MUSIC EVENT BENEFITING MAKE-A-WISH

Reef & Barrel Beach Bar & Grill Hosts 3-Hour Performance June 11th

Manasquan, NJ – On Sunday June 11th, the Fahey family and Reef & Barrel Beach Bar & Grill in Manasquan, New Jersey will host their second talent-packed live music event benefiting Make-A-Wish New Jersey, Summer Wishes at the Jersey Shore. The event is produced and directed by vocalist Michael Patrick Dominick of Wall Township, New Jersey, joined by nearly a dozen additional talented musicians and accompanying singers from throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York and Connecticut. Led by Robby Schwartz, the band will perform three hours of live musical entertainment and 100% of contributions will be donated to Make-A-Wish New Jersey, to help create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

This event is generously hosted by Reef & Barrel Beach Bar & Grill, and the Fahey family.

“The Fahey Family and our incredible staff at Reef & Barrel are so excited to host another amazing event for Make-A-Wish on Sunday, June 11th at 4pm,” shared Bob Fahey, Owner of Reef & Barrel Bar & Grill.  “The mission of the Make-A-Wish Foundation is to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.  Our first event, which was a huge success and so much fun, raised almost $3,500.  Our goal on June 11th is to raise another $4,000 and grant a wish for one special child here in New Jersey.  We are so proud and grateful to be able to make this wish come true, and are so excited to have Michael Patrick Dominick and the band back with us to complete our goal!  We are all so thankful to play a part in this wonderful event and hope to see a big turnout to show support for not only the children but their families as well.  See you all on Sunday, June 11th at 4pm!”

We are grateful to the Jersey shore community for their support at our first event here over the holidays, and we hope you’ll join us again on June 11th for an afternoon of some great rock and roll classics and help restore hope into the lives of wish children and their families when hope is needed most.”

Michael Patrick Dominick and Robby Schwartz, along with band residents Joey D’Alessio and Chris Finelli, have been collaborating on and producing live music events throughout the tristate area for nearly two decades, cumulatively raising nearly $100,000 for Make-A-Wish chapters.  Michael’s family experienced the life-changing power of a wish in 1992 when his younger brother Matthew, who courageously battled a brain tumor, was granted his wish to travel to the Walt Disney World Resort. The experience served as a welcome respite to their entire family and since then, with the help of countless friends and talented performers over the years, they have helped raise funds to grant wishes for children with critical illnesses for Make-A-Wish in the New Jersey, Connecticut, Philadelphia, Syracuse, and New York city regions. Michael’s brother Matthew, now cancer-free, will join the band on Sunday, June 11th as a guest singer and pianist.
