Strauss Mansion Investigation

Built in 1893, the Strauss Mansion was constructed by a wealthy NYC merchant as his summer home, on top of the hill, overlooking NY harbor. This grand 21 room Victorian home features 3 floors of rooms to investigate including a Tower Room overlooking the bay, as well as a basement to explore. This mansion is on the New Jersey and National Registers of Historic Places.
Haunted history includes confirmed deaths in the house, shadow figures, multiple EVP's caught on security cameras and recorders, a book falling in the library, footsteps, ITC equipment going off on command, and voices heard.
Our evening will begin with a trustee leading us through the haunted history of the location. Everything you see on TV you will get to experience firsthand including how our paranormal equipment used by professionals works and the theories behind these devices. You are welcome to join team members with conducting various experiments throughout the night. However, these events are also free-roaming and we encourage you to investigate at your leisure, test your own theories and come up with your individualized conclusions. Our events are for those 18 years and older only.
All proceeds from this event will benefit Make-A-Wish New Jersey!
