Make-A-Wish kid Sam Prince brought the energy to announce the pick

A special guest will join the New York Giants on Thursday night to announce their first-round NFL Draft pick in Las Vegas.

The New York Giants filled their two biggest needs in the first round of the NFL Draft in Las Vegas, taking edge rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux of Oregon and tackle Evan Neal with the No. 5 and 7 overall picks. But while the team is being lauded for what experts are dubbing stellar selections, it was the guy who made the big announcement who stole the show.

Sam Prince owned his moment. He waved his arms in the air, revving up the NFL Draft crowd.

This month is World Wish Month, in honor of World Wish Day on April 29th, the day in 1980 when a 7-year-old boy named Chris had the life-changing experience of becoming a police officer, amidst his battle with leukemia. Make-A-Wish New Jersey surprised a 9-year-old with a trip of a lifetime. Jasper was surrounded by his closest friends and family when he found out he is going to Hawaii.

A teenager from New Jersey was treated to an amazing day inside the fashion industry, thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

PuppySpot and Make-A-Wish have been partners since 2018 and have fulfilled over 150 wishes.

Eyewitness News was in Gloucester City, New Jersey for a bit of magic and a dose of hope as 8-year old Jazell Johnson’s wish was granted by the fine folks at Make-a-Wish and PuppySpot.
