Stella can be found spending most of her time exploring the great outdoors and creating new adventures. One of her favorite things to do is to race down the slides on the playground. Stella grew up with a severe form of epilepsy; one of her seizures being detected within the first year of her life. This has brought a large amount of fear and uncertainty to her family’s lives as there have been many bumps in the road. Now at the age of seven, Stella continues to find hope in everyday life since her wish came true.
When Stella was told she could have any wish she desired, her parents and Make-A-Wish teamed up to determine how to bring her vision to life. They decided that her very own playhouse would be a great idea considering how much she enjoys being outside, and to make it even better, they planned to attach a slide to it! Stella’s playhouse was built by an amazing group of people who made sure it was fully furnished, filled with her favorite toys, and colorful decorations to match her bright personality. Not only has Make-A-Wish granted Stella a wish, but also has given her a chance to forget about doctor appointments and have something to look forward to daily. Stella has a personal oasis that she can turn to for strength and to feel herself.
