I wish for a New Hampshire family vacation
Skye could not contain her excitement when she found out her wish for a family vacation was being granted. On a gorgeous day in early July, Skye began her adventure with a trip to Canobie Lake Park, where her granted wish was announced. She spent most of her time cooling off at the waterpark and enjoying different attractions. Despite facing the fears surrounding her illness, Skye’s parents were overjoyed to be right by her side on this vacation. Skye had to make adjustments throughout her life that many other kids do not need to worry about. Dealing with a diagnosis such as leukemia at a young age can be difficult to endure, but Skye continues with a positive energy every day.
Skye was ready to visit some of the best places New Hampshire has to offer. Story Land was one of the first stops, where a special visit with Cinderella took place. She also had the opportunity to feed some of Santa’s reindeer while on her visit to Santa’s Village! The fun did not stop here, and Skye overlooked the White Mountains while traveling on the Conway Scenic Railroad. This excursion allowed for the old-fashioned experience filled with history and beauty. Skye was so happy to have spent this time with the people she loves the most and extends a special thank you to Make-A-Wish for making it possible.
