UPDATE: With well below freezing temperatures and strong wind conditions expected this weekend, in partnership with the City of Long Beach and the Long Beach Polar Bears, we've made the decision to reschedule the Long Beach Polar Bear Splash to Sunday, March 15th, so we can ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

All fundraising and event activities will continue as planned, and every dollar raised still goes towards granting life-changing wishes for local children.

The 2026 Long Beach Polar Bear Splash is just around the corner—and we need YOU! Every year, brave participants like you jump into the icy Atlantic to honor Paulie Bradley and help grant life-changing wishes for children battling critical illnesses.

The Polar Bear Splash began in 2001 when a group of friends came together to jump into the icy Atlantic Ocean in memory of Paulie Bradley. That first splash brought together a small group of friends and raised $7,000. Today, more than 4,000 people take the plunge each year, and together we’ve raised over $10 million, helping grant thousands of wishes for children right here in New York!
