Make-A-Wish® Metro New York, in collaboration with LISA Project NYC, has launched an ambitious project to celebrate the resilience of wish kids and New York City with a series of vibrant community street art murals.

Make-A-Wish, along with Brookdale Unitersity Hospital Center, helped unveil two new murals at the medical facility.

Dr. Sandra Scott, executive director of Brookdale Hospital, got a little more than she bargained for after wishing for some color to brighten up the building. Instead of “a splash of color,” three local artists went above and beyond with massive murals.

To create life-changing wishes for children with critical illness is the Make-A-Wish Foundation’s motto. On Wednesday, News 12 got to witness a celebration of resilience, wish kids and of New York City.
