For the first time ever, Team Make-A-Wish will take on the Marine Corps Marathon—an iconic race known as “The People’s Marathon.” This race is beloved for its patriotic course, inspirational atmosphere, and unparalleled support from the U.S. Marines who line the route.

Why run it:
The Marine Corps Marathon takes runners on a tour of Washington, D.C., past the Capitol, National Mall, and monuments, before finishing at the iconic Marine Corps War Memorial. With Marines providing encouragement at every mile, this is more than a race—it’s a moving tribute to dedication, service, and resilience.
