Make-A-Wish Launches Wishes Need Stars Like You in Conjunction with 40th Anniversary
Campaign shines a light on every person’s ability to bring hope to children with critical illnesses in the most challenging of times

Make-A-Wish® is making history by granting a record 19 wishes at Super Bowl LIV. The 19 wish kids and their families will fly from 12 different states and Canada to the Sunshine State for the big game.

As part of the twelfth Subaru Share the Love® Event, between Nov. 14, 2019 and Jan. 2, 2020, Subaru will donate $250 for every new Subaru vehicle purchased or leased to the customer's choice of participating national charities, including Make-A-Wish.

With 75 percent of wishes requiring air travel, Make-A-Wish needs almost 3 billion airline miles and points to fulfill travel wishes for children battling critical illnesses each year.

Make-A-Wish® and ESPN® today announced the 14th annual "My Wish" series presented by Dove Men+Care, a week-long exploration of wish granting on SportsCenter that highlights the inspirational stories of five children with critical illnesses who wished to meet their sports heroes.

This year, partnership between Eurail and Make-A-Wish will enable 25 life-changing wishes for children battling critical illnesses around the world.

Make-A-Wish will celebrate World Wish Day on April 29, the 39th anniversary of the wish for then-7-year-old Chris Greicius. Make-A-Wish is launching a month-long World Wish Day campaign with the theme: “Where there’s a wish, there’s a way.”

Gordon Ramsay, Michelle Wilson, Rosanna Pansino and Stephen Curry have been awarded the Chris Greicius Celebrity Award.

Make-A-Wish America announced that the Board of Directors has selected Richard K. Davis as Chief Executive Officer, effective January 2, 2019.
