You have experienced firsthand the life-changing power of a wish-come-true. Wishes bring hope, strength and joy to over 300 local children battling critical illnesses every year. We are a network of individuals bound by the shared experiences of hope, resilience, and the power of a wish. YOU are an integral part of our story.

This community is an exciting and meaningful way to connect with other wish kids and families and get involved in the Make-A-Wish mission. We invite you to share your story to inspire others and let current and future wish kids know they have a unique community​ surrounding and lifting them up when they need it most. We also hope you will help us make more wishes possible​ for children in the Mid-Atlantic region.

We had a wonderful time reconnecting with wish families and Bar-T Ranch in Laystonsville, Maryland, where we enjoyed lots of fun activities including face painting, playground activities, field games, ziplines, ropes courses, rock walls, a community art project, and face painting! We even had special guest appearances from Slapshot from the Washington Capitals, Major Tuddy and cheerleaders from the Washington Commanders, and the Laytonsville Fire Department.
