Jacob's Orlando Theme Parks Wish

Six-year-old Jacob from Owings Mills, Maryland is an outgoing and fun-filled kid despite his recent cancer diagnosis. He loves all things Marvel, including the Avengers and Spider-Man. In his free time, you can catch Jacob watching his favorite movie, Spider-Man: No Way Home, his favorite television show, Spidey and His Amazing Friends, or dressed up in his Spider-Man costume! Jacob decided to go to the Orlando Theme Parks for his wish where he can see all his favorite superheroes before his very eyes!

Jacob and his family stayed at Give Kids the World Village, a special resort designed for wish children and their families, during their wish trip to the Walt Disney World® Resort, SeaWorld® Orlando, and Universal Studios. Jacob had an amazing time exploring Epcot, riding horses in the Give Kids the World Village, and taking a ride on Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. The greatest moment during his trip was when Jacob and his family spotted Spider-Man in the crowd during their visit to Universal Studios. Dressed up in his Spider-Man outfit, Jacob and Spider-Man had a special moment together posing for the Daily Bugle newspaper.

Jacob’s mom shared her gratitude to Make-A-Wish® and said, “Thank you for putting a smile on Jacob’s face!” Jacob and his family concluded the wish trip with a new sense of purpose, ready to conquer anything that may come their way. We know Jacob will continue to inspire his family, friends and community – he is his community’s very own superhero!
