WASHINGTON, D.C. (October 6, 2023) – Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic is proud to announce the appointment of Jason Pappas as the new Board Chair. Pappas, a seasoned C-level executive, consultant, trainer and philanthropist, brings a wealth of experience and leadership to his new role. Pappas is a committed supporter of Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic's mission to grant wishes to children with critical illness in D.C., Maryland and Northern Virginia. He has served on the board of directors since 2019, most recently as the vice chairman. Beyond his leadership on the board, he has hosted events, served on event committees, and serves as an ambassador to the community for Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic.

"Jason has been a driving force in the success of our chapter," said Lesli Creedon, President and CEO of Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic. "His leadership and advocacy have shaped the work we do, and his impact is felt by the many children and families we serve. We are honored to welcome him on as our new board chair and anticipate years of growth from his guidance."

Currently serving as the President and Managing Director of Three Twenty-One Capital Partners, a middle-market full-service investment bank, Jason Pappas has a proven track record of success in both the corporate and philanthropic sectors. His career spans leadership roles in various organizations, including his recent tenure as CEO and President of RocketDocs, a private equity-backed international sales enablement software firm with offices in Baltimore and London, which a Dallas-based investment group acquired in March 2023.

Prior to his work with RocketDocs, Pappas served as CEO, President, and Chairman of Maryland Proton Treatment Holdings (MPTH), a cutting-edge, free-standing cancer treatment facility affiliated with the University of Maryland Medical System. Under Pappas's leadership, MPTH underwent a $277 million financial restructuring and acquisition by the Public Finance Authority of Wisconsin, positioning the organization for continued success. Jason Pappas continues to serve on the board of managers at MPTH.

In addition to his service on the Make-A-Wish board of directors, he has also served on several other corporate and philanthropic boards, including Sinclair Broadcast Group, Techtonic, and Big Brother's Big Sisters of Greater Maryland.
