McAfee Airline Miles Campaign

More than seventy-five percent (75%) of wishes require travel. That's 2.5 billion airline miles and over 50,000 round trip tickets needed to fulfill this mission. Though, because of the impact of COVID-19, 30 travel-related wishes will be postponed today. While we work to do everything we can to grant every eligible child's wish, we need your help now more than ever so that we're ready to grant these wishes when it's safe to do so. 

Today, your support can help bring experiences of hope to wish kids like Sachin. Sachin has loved penguins ever since his first-grade teacher taught a section on them in class, so his mom was not surprised at all when he said his one true wish was to see penguins in Antarctica.

After a long, scary battle with leukemia which included missing school and playing sports, long nights in the hospital, and countless doctor’s visits, a family trip to Antarctica was just what Sachin and his family needed to reconnect. “Sachin was the youngest guest on the ship and he was always smiling,” says his mom, “so he became a local celebrity for both crew and guests.” 

One of the crew members even named an island “Sachin Island”.

Today, Sachin is in the maintenance phase of his treatment— taking oral chemo everyday and going to the hospital monthly for transfusions, but he’s already back to doing the things he loves such as playing baseball, doing martial arts and always learning about penguins.

No matter the circumstances, every child like Sachin deserves a childhood. Life-changing wishes wouldn't happen without the power of supporters like you. You give children much-needed hope for brighter days ahead.
