Borden Light Marina is hosting its 20th annual Charity Poker Run weekend with four days of events anchored around the signature speed boat race. Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island has been one of the charity beneficiaries of the Poker Run for many years, and for 2026, event proceeds will benefit both Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island and the Boys and Girls Club of Fall River.

The annual event combines high-performance boating, waterfront parties, charity fundraising, and weekend-long entertainment across Narragansett Bay and surrounding waterways.

Key events include:

Thursday, July 30: Block Party, open to the public
Featuring boats, a DJ, a bar, food trucks, and lawn games
Located in the parking lot at Borden Light Marina/Entrance to the Tipsy Seagull

Friday, July 31: VIP Captain's cocktail reception, at Morgan's Cantina, 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Welcome drink and small bites will be served and the reception will feature a recap of the last 20 years of the Poker Run on the big screen.

Saturday, August 1:

• 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.: Poker Run Brunch at Pier 52 (52 Ferry Street, Fall River; reservations available online; $50 minimum per person for lawn seating; bar seating first come, first served)
• 12:30 p.m.: Poker Run begins
• 5:00 p.m.: Dinner at Pier 52, Awards, Raffle & Silent Auction

Sunday, August 2: Fun Run to Block Island - weather permitting. Meet on the docks at The Tipsy Seagull at 10:30 a.m.
