CHICAGO, March 2, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Today Keebler® launched its partnership with Make-A-Wish® to help grant more wishes for children battling critical illnesses, one cookie at a time. Now through April 30, 2020, proceeds from the purchase of specially-marked packs of Keebler cookies will benefit Make-A-Wish. Celebrity mom and long-time Make-A-Wish supporter, Jessica Simpson, is lending her support as a campaign ambassador to help Keebler spread the magic and encourage families to participate.

"We like to say that Keebler cookies are 'made with magic and loved by families,' and above all else, we believe in celebrating and sharing the joy of snacking," said Nick Farrey, Brand Manager at Ferrara, makers of Keebler cookies. "Generosity has always been at the heart of our brand, and teaming up with Make-A-Wish has been a true honor as we support the great work that they do to help children and families across the nation. And we could not be more thrilled to have Jessica Simpson join us for this campaign to inspire people to donate and help grant more wishes."

For every purchase of specially-marked packages of Keebler cookies, Keebler will donate to Make-A-Wish1. Cookie fans can also visit Keebler's Instagram page to help raise money for the cause – each comment that tags a friend on the campaign social post and uses the cookie emoji will raise $1 for Make-A-Wish2. Through this campaign, Keebler will help grant more than 25 wishes for children battling critical illnesses across the nation.

"Giving back is a core value that I was taught growing up, and one that I still firmly believe in," said Jessica Simpson. "I have been blessed to get to know wonderful families and some of the most special children I have ever had the chance to meet through Make-A-Wish. The hope that Make-A-Wish is able to provide to families at some of the most challenging times is extraordinary. Please join me in spreading some magic to benefit this incredible foundation."

"This year, Make-A-Wish will celebrate 40 years of granting wishes, helping wish families replace fear with confidence, sadness with joy, and anxiety with hope," said Holly Thomas, Vice President of Corporate Alliances at Make-A-Wish America. "We are grateful to Keebler and Jessica Simpson for their partnership in helping us continue to fulfill our mission of creating life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses."
