Make-A-Wish® Illinois Announces Unique Partnership

Local Marketing Agency and Race Car Driver to Support Wishes

Casey Moyer

CHICAGO — Race car driver Casey Moyer has added Make-A-Wish Illinois to his team as a charity partner for a year-long campaign aimed at making wishes come true for children with critical illnesses in Illinois. As Moyer lives out his real-life dream of racing cars, he will be supporting Illinois wish children in realizing theirs with his contributions.

Moyer, a young driver moving up to cars with numerous Karting podiums and championships under his belt, is looking forward to competing in the Spec Miata Racing Series with an eye on F4 and select endurance racing opportunities in the upcoming season and beyond. Throughout the next year, Moyer and his agency Pegasus Marketing will donate 25 percent of proceeds secured from Moyer's sponsors.

Having a cousin who was diagnosed at the young age of two with a critical illness was Moyer’s inspiration for this charity partnership. Her wish experience had a lasting impact for his cousin, who recovered and is now in college, and their entire extended family as they witnessed her draw strength from the wish journey.

"My older cousin is a survivor of childhood leukemia and a former Make-A-Wish recipient,” Moyer shared. “This makes me really appreciate the importance of their work at Make-A-Wish and I am very proud and happy to represent them and work with their wonderful efforts for seriously ill children."

This collaboration is possible because Pegasus Marketing Group has selected Make-A-Wish Illinois as their charity partner for 2025. Led by Ralph H. Hansen and based in Lake Forest, Illinois, Pegasus Marketing Group has a long history in racing as an innovator and implementer of many highly successful cause marketing campaigns. The partnership will help to provide even more hope, strength and joy to children across Illinois who are waiting for a life-changing wish experience.
