Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley Partners with Hudson Valley Arts Collective to Release Poems for a Wish

In celebration of 40 Years of Wishes, Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley is proud to partner with the Hudson Valley Arts Collective - a community‑driven space for self‑expression and creativity rooted in the heart of the Rivertowns.

Together, we are excited to announce the release of Poems for a Wish, a special anthology published by the Hudson Valley Arts Collective. The collection brings together poets from across the Hudson Valley whose work reflects the richness, diversity, and shared spirit of our creative community. Each poem offers a unique inner world, forming a collective chorus shaped by common ground and deep connection.

To celebrate the release, the Hudson Valley Arts Collective will host a book launch event on May 17 at the Ludy Café in Irvington, bringing together poets, community members, and supporters for an evening rooted in creativity and connection. Published by the Hudson Valley Arts Collective, Poems for a Wish celebrates poetry as a communal practice - and a portion of proceeds will be donated to Make-A-Wish® Hudson Valley, helping bring hope and joy to local wish families.
