Fortina and Make-A-Wish® Team Up for A Creative & Delicious Collaboration

Fortina is proud to partner with Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley, supporting the foundation’s mission to create unforgettable moments and life‑changing wishes for local children with critical illnesses.

The experience begins with an afternoon of fun at Fortina, where wish children spend time together in the restaurant alongside the Fortina team, led by Director of Operations Samantha Melisi, and Chef Fredy. The highlight of the day is stepping into the kitchen to design their very own signature pizzas. From a Star Wars–inspired creation to a classic chicken parm pie, and even pizzas topped with French fries, each pie reflects the creativity and personality of its young chefs.

Now through August 2026, Fortina will feature one child’s pizza on the menu each month, with net proceeds benefiting Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley. The campaign highlights five local Hudson Valley children - Aubrey, Henry, Itzayana, Jacob, and Jonah - giving guests the opportunity to enjoy their imaginative creations while supporting an incredible cause.

In addition, Fortina joins the chapter in celebrating 40 Years of Wishes, and will spotlight Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley with a special signature pie during World Wish Month.

Monthly Featured Pizzas

• March – Chef Jonah’s Signature Pie: The Vader Supreme
  Tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, basil, meatballs, pepperoni, and French fries.
  Six‑year‑old Jonah from Sleepy Hollow had his wish to visit Walt Disney World granted in January 2026.

• April – World Wish Month Signature Pie
  Tomato sauce, pepperoni, chili honey, and sweet soppressata.
  Celebrating 40 Years of Wishes, Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley has granted more than 3,500 wishes to local children since 1986.

• May – Chef Aubrey’s Signature Pie: No Harm Chicken Parm
  Vodka sauce, chicken cutlet, fresh mozzarella, and basil.
  Fourteen‑year‑old Aubrey’s wish to visit Walt Disney World was granted in April 2025.

• June – Chef Jacob’s Signature Pie: Laven Tuntun
  Tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, basil, bacon, pepperoni, and pineapple.
  Jacob’s wish to visit The Wizarding World of Harry Potter was granted in June 2024.

• July – Chef Henry’s Signature Pie: The Victory Express
  Tomato sauce, shredded mozzarella, oregano, bacon, and French fries.
  Henry’s wish to receive a playset was granted in June 2023.

• August – Chef Itzayana’s Signature Pie: Itzy’s Paradise
  Tomato sauce, shredded mozzarella, oregano, pepperoni, and pineapple.
  Itzayana’s wish to meet Elsa at Disneyland was granted in July 2025.
