Wish It Forward: Young Alumni Happy Hour
Were you a child whose wish was granted and now you’re figuring out adulthood? Join us for a casual happy hour at the new Dave & Buster's in Oakland's Jack London Square and meet other young alumni (20s & 30s) who grew up with shared experiences of illness, treatment, resilience, and hope.
This get-together is all about connection—meeting people your age who get it, sharing stories (or just enjoying the vibe), and reconnecting with Make-A-Wish in a fun, relaxed setting. There’s no program and no pressure, just good company and conversation.
First time attending a Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area alumni event? You’re especially welcome. Whether you’re curious, a little nervous, or just checking things out, this is a low-key way to dip your toes back in. Come as you are, stay as long (or short) as you’d like!
Who should attend?
• Young adult Make-A-Wish alumni
• First-time event attendees or longtime community members—both welcome
• Friends, siblings, and supporters who’d enjoy a social evening
• Anyone interested in community, connection, or giving back
Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area will provide appetizers. Drinks and games available for purchase.
Come hang out, meet fellow young alumni, and be part of a growing community—on your own terms.
Please register to attend only if you are a young wish alum, wish sibling, or friend/supporter of a wish alum.
