Sebastian has always loved soccer, and he’s one of Austin FC’s biggest fans. So when it came time to decide on his wish, he knew exactly what it would be—to meet and train with the Austin FC VERDE & Black for a day.

His experience kicked off at the St. David’s Performance Center, where he was welcomed like a true pro soccer player. He joined the team for breakfast, received his own custom kit and training gear, and stepped onto the field for a special training session with the team.

Then came match day at Q2 Stadium—an unforgettable celebration of everything Sebastian loves about the sport. He enjoyed a warmup session on the pitch, joined the team for their pre-match huddle, and was honored as the night’s Honorary Captain during Austin FC’s match against Sporting Kansas City.

Throughout his courageous journey facing cancer, Sebastian’s passion for soccer and his favorite team has never wavered. More than just a single day or game, Sebastian’s wish was a powerful experience of belonging, excitement, and pure joy. From high-fives on the field to memories that will last a lifetime, it was everything he had hoped for—and more.
