First-grader Elizabeth is a fashionista. Her "passion" as she puts it, is designing dresses and she hopes to one day make it her career. When she was three years old, however, her future didn't look so clear.

Sixteen-year-old Simran Patel has always loved to draw and paint. “Something about it just calls to me. I just really want to create art," said Patel. In this world of color and shade, she finds peace.

In the midst of battling Leukemia, Elizabeth designed a lovely floral dress, then debuted it at a fashion show in a Macy's store. That beautiful dress is available to purchase at select Macy's stores and online, so Elizabeth is already a very accomplished girl!
