For more than 20 years, Linda Soechting kept a unique tradition going at Bluebonnet Motors by collecting spare change in coffee cans around the dealership for Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas. Over time, those small contributions grew into something much bigger. 

This year, Linda finally cashed in 11 coffee cans filled with coins totaling $525.62. Inspired by the impact those everyday contributions could have, she matched the donation herself, turning it into a generous gift of $1,025.62 to help grant more wishes for children facing critical illnesses. 

Linda’s generosity shows that there are countless ways to become a WishMaker during World Wish Month, and that even a coffee can full of spare change can help bring hope, strength, and joy to wish families across Central and South Texas.
