Cameron's wish to have a gaming setup

In 2022, my middle son Cam had an upset stomach for a couple of days, nothing alarming. He woke up one day and I noticed his stomach was swollen. Off to the ER we went. Next thing we knew he was being life flighted to Duke for emergency surgery. It was cancer. And it was bad. At 14 yrs old he was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive stage 4 cancer - desmoplastic small round cell tumors. They were all over his body.  

He was a huge gamer, and Make-A-Wish granted a crazy gaming set up with a top-of-the-line gaming PC, desk, dual screens, gaming systems, and gift cards. He was the happiest I had seen him in forever. He LOVED everything and used it all the time.  

Unfortunately, in April 2025, we had a house fire and lost everything including his set up. Six months later, twenty days after his 17th birthday, he passed in my arms. He was the most amazing soul you could have ever met. Thank you Make-A-Wish for allowing him to enjoy his time still here with us.
