Adolfo has two daughters diagnosed at a very early age with two different types of heart conditions.

"This condition effects their quality of life and eventually can cause the heart to stop altogether," he shared. "After my daughter Adina's wish to go to Hawaii was granted, we came home with hope and we were going to need it."

Both of his daughters were told they needed to be evaluated for heart transplants and prepared for the unknown. Andrea's heart came in January of 2023 and Adina's heart came less than three weeks later in February 2023.

"Andrea, my youngest, faced many challenges after her transplant but as my wife and I stood in the middle of Mingyangdong Shopping St. on her wish to go to South Korea, I stood back as I looked at her smile full of bliss and completely worry free."

"I realized all she had overcome to reach this moment. Everything else faded away."
