Kids for Wish Kids Brighton Success Story

School Puts Competition Aside for Rival High School Student

When it comes to helping transform lives, one wish at a time, Brighton High School really makes the grade. Brighton’s Kids For Wish Kids® effort raised an incredible $31,000.

The students raised money for Kenzie, a student attending rival school Alta High School. Kenzie’s wish was to have a college scholarship. Brighton raised the money by holding student body challenges – one of the class officers even shaved her head! They had a blast doing it and made a difference for a fellow teenager that will affect the rest of her life. Alta High recognized Brighton’s community spirit by providing its rival school with donuts during a high school basketball game. The kindness of youth made this magical moment possible.
